Let us tell you an interesting story of 3 friends – Hero, Average and Zero.
Hero, Average and Zero were the best friends studying in the same school. They were all equally talented and smart.
However, thanks to Hero’s parents, Hero had his Brain Manual right from his childhood. He was sure that he can explore writing field as he loved writing comic stories.
So, he started language classes when he was very young.
Average wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with his life. He liked gaming a lot but he also loved dancing and music.
So, he took the traditional approach of noting down likes and dislikes. After spending days figuring out what to do, he finally decided to become a full-time gamer.
Unfortunately, Zero couldn’t identify what he was capable of. So, he went ahead with the common choice - computer engineering.
He thought it’s booming right now so he will get a good package to start with. Ironically, his decision was applauded by society.
After 10 years, Hero became a successful writer with two of his books becoming New York Times bestsellers.
Not only that, he loved his work of writing amazing stories for people. He was living his dream life.
Average tried gaming but after 6 months, he got bored of it and decided to explore something else. He started learning Guitar but after 2 years of struggle, he left it too.
He finally joined dance classes and continued to practise the same. After 4 years of training, he became a good dancer who was waiting to get featured in top dancing shows. Since he was too late, he started his own dance classes to earn his bread and butter.
At last, Zero became a computer engineer who hated his job every single day but now, there was no escape.
Unfortunately, he became one of those who work like hell during the day and drinks all night to escape from his harsh reality.

3) Not discovered at all.
In 1st scenario, like the case of Hero, the parents knows the innate potential. So, they will nurture him accordinly rather than forcing the kid to be an engineer.
In rest of the scenarios, we can clearly see that either the person compromises on his passion if he's not lucky or he gets labled as talentless.
